My name is Angie and I am happily married to my husband, Kevin. We have two wonderful children,Tyler and Raven. I am a stay at home mom which is wonderful because I am with my kids all the time and I don't miss out on the things they like do. For so many years I watched my mother and my brother fight a long hard battle of drug and alcohol addiction. I was so wrapped up in trying to get them clean and sober, I didn't realize that I too was becoming a drug addict. For years I worked, took care of my son and partied all the time. The addiction became so bad, I had to have uppers to wake me up and downers to put me asleep. At the age of 26 I became pregant with my second child which was a blessing from God. Being pregant straightened me out and I became clean. My mom passed away on December 15, 2001 and my daughter was born 2 weeks later. I meet my husband and we got married on Valentine's Day. God sent him to me for a reason but I didn't realize it at the time. Then I was introduced to a drug called crystal meth. It grabbed a hold of me before I realized what was going on. I ran through thousands of dollars and not to mention neglecting my kids and my husband. I had been up on a 14 day binge when my husband intervined. He stepped in at the point where I was beligerent and angery. My kids didn't want to be around me. My husband decieded to send me to some friends house so they could clean me up. On Feburary 6, 2006, I asked God to forgive for all my sins. The void I felt in my heart was finally filled. I surrendered it at all and just like that I was at peace with myself. I really underestimated what having God's love in your life could do fo you. I know now any thing is possible when you walk with God and your soul is filled with His spirit. I feel God has given me this second chance so that I could share my testimony with others and become one of God's children. Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life. St.John 6:47
