I have had many memorable hunts but probably my most memorable was when I was hunting by myself when I was 18 and I saw a deer walking in the edge of the trees right before dark (it was already pretty dark) so I shot thinking it was a nice doe. When we found "her" it was an 8pt buck. What a nice surprise that was.

I was hunting with my dad when I was about 16 and he was up in a tree and I was on the ground talking to him when he shifted his weight and fell 30 feet to the ground right next to me. He was ok and didn't break anything but it was very scary.

I enjoy fishing and going to the beach with my wife. I also enjoy playing softball and being coach of my church softball team.

I was hunting with my dad from the time I was young. I killed my first deer when I was about 17 with a shotgun. My biggest deer I've killed was an 8pt a year after my first deer.

I have a 16 gauge shotgun my dad gave me, an 870 shotgun I won at a sports banquet, and a PSE typhoon compound bow I won at the same banquet.
