| Most Memorable Hunt |
They've all had their memories. About 9 years ago untill 3 years ago, there would be 4-5 of us from work that would go on a hunting/camping trip in the Ga mountains for 2-3 weeks each year. Naw, we never killed anything..heck, you don't think we were going to mess up our vacation do you? Hahahaha. If we had seen anything as or larger than what we could get here at home we would have shot it, but we never did. It was really just a time for us to kick back from work and the wives and see how gubby we could get. Hahahahaha |
| Hunting Nightmare |
I had problems in 1980 and had to have all my teeth removed. I was hunting with my cousin on apx. 400 acres of new land we had access to, and we had split up. The sun had set and I realized that I had no idea where I was in a swamp. We communicated by whistling, but.....I had taken my new dentures (they were hurting) out and left them in the truck. Hahahaha, so when he started whistling..all I could do was blow. I could hear him getting farther away looking(listening) for me. So, I broke down and hollared for him. I had done started getting nervous and figured I was going to be lost that night. He still reminds me about this. Oh well, so this wasn't a nightmare to some but it was funny and I didn't want to spend the night alone in a strange swamp. |
