Firenock is a high-tech piece of equipment with hunter’s mind designs. Electronically, Firenock employs a double-sided SMT (Surface Mount Technology) electronic circuit board to achieve ultra lightweight and extra high reliability. The circuit board is also epoxy coated to make it weatherproof.

Most of the Firenock’s electronic components are contained inside a special designed transparent polycarbonate plastic nock. All Firenock/Lightning Nocks also use its international patented and US Patent pending cross lock battery wire connector. Thus Firenock does not need or have a heavy and clumsy casing. This allows ease of installation, field replaceable battery, and field replaceable nock.

Unlike other brands of lighted nocks, Firenock will remain lit even when it is shot into solid object like bone, wood or stone (when assembled with optional accessories) and this is accomplished by the special designed circuitry. For ease of testing, we design the nock to function even if it is removed from the shaft, thus there will be virtually no failure after installation. For versatility, Firenock polycarbonate plastic nock is engineered to fit in different brands’ standard shaft.

Although Firenock only adds ~ 8 to 20 grains to your arrow depending on the shaft, one should still re-sight the bow. As an arrow at 390 grains leaving the bow at 260 ft/sec, it would hit 3/4” lower at 20 yards according to Firenock’s testing conditions.

For practice purpose, each pack of Firenock includes matched-weight practice nocks in green color. You can use matched-weight practice nock to re-sight the bow and to save money.
