Eveyone seems to be in love with rifles these days, but you would be suprised at how versatile the old flintlock smoothbores are in the woods.  For squirrel and rabbit, I load as a shotgun...powder, wad, shot and the over shot wad, for deer I load powder, wad, .60 roundball and the overball wad.

Anyone shoot a blackpowder double?
