I have been an active handgun shooter: bowling pins mostly and years ago some IPSC and IDPA, though recently I've slacked way off. I reload, mostly handgun cartridges, but have a good bit of rifle dies and stuff as well. I have what I think is a pretty good battery of guns, somewhat heavy on handguns(understandable, considering what I was mostly into) though not without some representation in rifles and both traditional and compound bows.

Seven Days in May & Stalag 17 are the 1st 2 that come to mind. The Star Wars trilogy(episodes 4,5 & 6, though I'm warming up to 1,2 & 3). I can & will watch Shane almost anytime anywhere. I hate High Noon and fail to see what the big deal is about Citizen Kane. The War Wagon is always fun, and Winchester 73 is great and James stewart's best western. My name is Ken, I went to gunsmithing school a few years ago, I started my own gunsmithing business about a year later but I work as a machinist (currently, anyway) to actually pay the bills. Attempts I've made at working for other gunsmiths have not worked out very well and and have been solid financial disasters.

My hunting background is very, very limited. One unsuccessful deer hunt when I was a kid, and one unsuccessful duck hunt about 8 years ago. I joined up here hoping to start picking up tips, help and perhaps a mentor to get me started hunting.
