Every hunt is memorable, but if I had one, it would be this year, when I killed my biggest buck, 13 pts, 256 lbs, with a bow at 15 feet, from a stand

Hunting in a stand and had a hawk attack me, not sure why.

Fish and do Honey Do's

Die Hard 1&2 / Bad Boys / Clint Eastwood's movies

There are no journals submitted!

Worked every since I was 10 at my dad's service station, then family went into the ambulance business, then joined the Sheriff's Office as a CSI investigator and retired 26 years later as Captain

Been hunting since 10 yrs old, still have my first gun at 10, single barrel 410 shotgun. Started out deer hunting with dogs, but got tired of chasing dogs and damaging my truck and sharing my kills. Started hunting out of tree stands and love it. Some friends and I started a hunting club, but after 5 years got tired of everyone wanting to change the rules every year. So I went to the Property Appraisers Office and called people with 80 acres or more and acquired over 300 acres to hunt, for no fee.

High Country Bow (compound) / savage pendelum sight (tru-glo) / real tree leafy suit (excellent) / primose buck roar call / tink 69 / season my corn with "Hog Wild" works excellent

If you acquire private hunting land for yourself, never invite your friends. They will cause you to loose it.

hey shadow ..... your so right kids these days have it to good , too little worry and to many things to keep them from the true treasures of life. i love to bow hunt as well but with little private land to aquire in my area its hard to take a nice trophy buck with a gun let alone a bow , maybe one of these days i'll be blessed with an oppurtunity. its great to hear from fellow hunters such as yourself , hope you have a great christmas and a happy new year and may God bless you richly in all areas in your life.
