It was my second year bow hunting, got into the woods early. My dad and brother were with me.I was in my stand, everything quiet and hot.I was on an intersecting trail.Off to my left I heard some noise. My heart was pounding,I could see my chest expanding.A spike and doe approached my shooting range. They stopped,I shakingly drew back my arrow and I let go....I misssed, grazed right shoulder of the spike..Never saw him again during bow.Opening day of muzzleload, the same spike snuck up behind my stand. He was maybe ten feet at most.I had a few leaves in the way so i had to lean kinda to the side.Missed him again,my sights got shifted somehow. The very next day he was tailing two doe, came right at me.Needless to say,I got him that time......
