man i never realized how bad i got the deer101 bug..with the cams being down this long i find myself looking at a black screen waiting for them to come back on any second now.and i am finding out that a bunch of us got this same deer101 bug.i think as soon as they come back up i will need to take vaction from work and plant myself in front of my computer to help cure my addiction...

all the bucks are now carrying there summer red coats, and are all showing signs of being some very nice bucks.the buck that has been given the nickname "bigboy" now has 9 points one of them being a 3" droptine on his left side he is around 18 to 19" wide.. and going from all the early guesses he is going  to be over the 200" class buck.it is amazing watching him grow into a world class trophy whitetail..and there is word of a third cam being added to the site soon..keep your eyes out for him you will be very impressed...

the buck that has taken on the nickname of THE BIG BOY(or big boy) is really living up to his name.he has taken on around another 2 - 3" of width and has 4-5" brow tines from the looks of it..this puts him at about 16" wide as of now.he is easy to pick out from the other bucks(besides the size of his rack already) he is starting to get his red summer coat vs. most of the other bucks are still carrying the darker fall coats.i am going to take a guess that he will be about a mid 180-190's class buck from what he is showing us..any one that has seen him feel free to take a guess of what you think he will end up at as far as scoring him..

one of the larger bucks are really starting to show what he may put out for antler growth this year..he is already around 12-13 inch's wide and branching out on his g2 beams.this is going to be one very very large racked buck.cant wait to see him fully grown and in velvet..this big boy will keep you watching the cam to catch a look at him..

the bigger bucks on cam # 1 are starting to show this years antler growth,this should be neat to watch them as they go through the stages of antler growth and watching what they will turn out to be..

i hear the game comm. is talking about going back to the 3 day doe season here in pa..man i hope they do it is a 2 week if it's brown it's down season.the big herds in what we call the mountains (warren county ect..)i hear are way down in size from folks who hunt and have camps down that way.what is really bad about this is guy's are mowing down groups of deer,big or small they wipe out any thing.what i cant see is all the young deer being shot up.if it's doe season shoot the does not every thing with out horns.the lil button buck's are being blasted away before even grow there first set of antlers.so much for antler restriction law's..well lets see if they really do something about it this season........

me and my brother went out to a couple of spots today with no luck,we did see a tom turkey only about 15 yards in front of us in the woods he ran about 20 yards and took off into the pines..that boy has got me thinking of spring turkey now cant wait...

the last of the 26 inches of snow from our last storm is almost gone, were gonna try for this weekend to get out and do some shed hunting..i will post any pics of what we find..
