Every hunt is memorable one way or another but when i harvested my 7 point in Ohio that was the most memorable cause it was the biggest rack i'd ever taken. The most points i'd ever taken was a 9.

I would have to say my hunting nightmare would be when i was a little fella with my 22 single shot Remington and my dad his Savage 22-250 were groundhog hunting. Dad saw a hog and fired at it. Keep in mind i'm young i always run up to get the groundhog for dad but this time i had a surprise in store for me. I ran up to the animal it jumped up on its hind legs teeth a chattering and ran right at me.Needles to say i was scared to death froze actually dad was yelling shoot it shoot it but the fear had seemed to paralyize me. Dad finally shot it we both had a good laugh and i never ran up and grabbed anymore groundhogs.

In my off season i do quite a bit of 3D archery shooting,sight seeing and taking pics and videos,a little camping,some target shooting, and of course fishing too. Lets not forget put up stands and food plots for the whitetail for the coming year hunting season.

I'm a 49 year young male living in West Virginia. I'm now married to as of 4-23-08 a wonderful woman. I have 1 son Jeffrey 24 and a daughter Bobbie Lee 26.I also have 2 children i've raised as my own and i'm about to become a grandpa for the 7th time.I'm originally born and raised in Ohio. Went into the Army in 1977 got out in 1980 after that got my GED. Things didn't work out at home so i left moved several places several times then 3 years ago coming this March i've been here. I have a Savage 30-06 My 22 Remington single shot CVA 209 50 cal. muzzleloader 2008 Parker Wildfire XP compound bow and a Ragim Recurve bow. As my clothing i have a scent lock outfit, realtree, mossy oak, predator and 3 d leafy camo. I've just recently bought a Parker Wildfire XP and absolutely love it, and i bought my wife a Bear Odyssey II Bow for a wedding gift.

Always were your safety harness when hunting from a tree stand. Always make sure of your target and where the shot might go beyond it. And last but not least make every shot a 1 shot clean humane kill. Take someone new hunting save our heritage.
